This building was raised using helical screw piles to accommodate a new mechanical bay and shop.

In order for the client to upgrade the existing building to a heavy duty mechanics shop, they needed to install hoists and other equipment which required additional clearance (height). Screwpiles & jacking was used to increase the height of the building to accommodate the new equipment.

Results of this job

The client was extremely happy to be able to use the existing building instead of having to build a new structure. They got the additional height they needed – and are in fact still operating as a heavy mechanical shop today.
